A minimalist essence-toner from Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic — the Korean traditional medicine hospital that developed the brand to treat atopic and sensitive skin. With only 7 carefully selected ingredients and no water in the formula, ~91% of this toner is Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract (Huang Qi), replacing the water base entirely. The result is a dewy, viscous-textured toner that delivers nourishing, barrier-strengthening hydration in its purest form — free from exfoliating acids, fragrance, oils, and unnecessary additives. Safe for all skin types, including the most sensitised.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract (~91%) — Huang Qi — one of traditional Eastern medicine's most revered botanicals. Rich in saponins, flavonoids, and polysaccharides with proven antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-reinforcing properties. Replaces water entirely as the formula's base for a more concentrated, nourishing delivery.
• Hydroxyethylcellulose — A plant-derived thickening agent that gives the toner its signature viscous, essence-like texture — allowing it to sit on the skin and absorb deeply rather than evaporating quickly like watery toners.
• Arginine — An amino acid that helps condition the skin and supports moisture retention, working alongside the Astragalus extract to strengthen the skin's natural hydration capacity.

HOW TO USE

 

After cleansing, pour a moderate amount onto a cotton pad and gently sweep from inner to outer face following skin texture. Alternatively, press directly into skin with clean palms. Can also be used as a sheet mask — saturate a cotton pad and leave on skin for 3–5 minutes. Use morning and evening.
